Sustainable practices. Soulful Design. Lasting legacies.

about us

Seed & Stone Builders was founded on a shared passion — for craftsmanship, for family, and for the spaces we call home.

Cissa and Rob North are a husband-and-wife team united by a love of carpentry, woodworking, and creating with intention. What began as a hands-on appreciation for building has grown into a mission: to redefine what a home should feel like.

Rob brings over 26 years of experience in construction, with a deep understanding of materials, structure, and timeless building techniques. Cissa contributes over 20 years of expertise in business and finance, ensuring every project is executed with equal parts creative vision and strategic clarity. Together, they form a balance — a true partnership at the intersection of design, function, and purpose.

We incorporate sustainable building practices at every stage of construction — from selecting low-toxicity, responsibly sourced materials to implementing energy-efficient techniques that reduce your home's environmental footprint. We believe a well-built home should be healthy for your family, mindful of the environment, and designed to last for generations. That's why every home we build pairs structural integrity with refined design, using sustainable practices and healthier materials.

Cissa North Co-Founder | Strategy, Vision & Interior Design

Cissa brings a rare combination of disciplines to Seed & Stone — and the homes she helps create are richer for all of them.

With over two decades in business and finance, she has a gift for seeing the long game. She approaches every project with clarity and structure, grounded in a deep belief that a well-built home is one of the most powerful investments a family can make — not just financially, but emotionally and generationally.

But numbers have never been the whole story for Cissa.

Originally from Brazil, she is a singer-songwriter whose relationship with beauty, feeling, and storytelling runs through everything she touches. That artistic sensibility is alive in the way she sees a home — as something that should move you, the way a great song does. She is drawn to spaces that feel warm and elevated, where natural materials, generous light, and thoughtful details come together in a way that feels both deeply considered and completely effortless.

That perspective shapes every Seed & Stone home. Cissa ensures that each space is not only functional and beautifully designed, but genuinely aligned with the way modern families live — and with the values they want to pass on. Her commitment to sustainable, clean, and healthy materials is not an afterthought. It is personal. It is the belief that the places we call home should nourish the people inside them, and respect the world outside.

Rob North Co-Founder | Master Builder

Rob is many things — a builder, a Marine, a television host, and a craftsman in the truest sense of the word. With over 26 years of hands-on experience, his work is rooted in something deeper than construction: a belief that homes should be honest, healthy, and built to last for generations.

After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Rob carried that same discipline, precision, and integrity into every home he has ever built. That foundation has never wavered.

Most people know Rob from television. As a host of The Fixers on BYUtv, and a long resume of other home improvement show hosting from HGTV to CW to Netflix. He has spent years proving that great building is equal parts skill and heart. For over a 7 years he was the trusted face of Craftsman Tools — a role that suited him perfectly, because Rob has never been someone who just talks about the work. He does it.

Together

Now, Rob and Cissa are bringing everything they believe in under one roof — a company with a simple but powerful commitment: to create beautiful, high-performing homes with soul that stand the test of time.
